Design & Materiality
1. Anatomical Flat-Base Architecture
The bowl incorporates a specialized flat-bottom structure engineered to naturally slow down a dog's eating pace. By creating a wider, shallower surface area, the design helps mitigate rapid consumption and reduces the associated risks of digestive discomfort or bloating.
2. Multi-Diet Versatility
The interior geometry is optimized to hold both dry kibble and wet food preparations. The refined surface prevents food from sticking or accumulating in corners.
3. High-Density 1280°C Firing
Each piece is high-fired at 1280°C to create a non-porous, high-density ceramic body. This extreme temperature process ensures exceptional structural durability and a smooth, vitrified finish that resists chipping and scratching.
4. Mineral-Based Underglaze
The bowl is finished using traditional underglaze techniques with natural mineral pigments. This artisanal process ensures the colors are permanently sealed beneath a transparent glaze, resulting in a food-safe, non-toxic surface that remains vibrant over time.
